jhm
There is this girl, well not a girl a woman. She lives in Washington state and was until very recently an employee of the USPS. She is also an internet junkie like me.

It’s getting closer
It’s getting closer, I will be flying out in the begining of April, stay a few days (loading things, visiting, and jhm has to say goodbye of course) then we drive back with cats and stuff on the start of our long journey.
I’m so excited that this is all happening! I have met such an increadible woman who moves me and touches me in ways I didn’t think possible. Very soon it’s going to all start and it won’t be finished for years.
jhm, I love you.
Stopping for good.
So, to post it so the whole world knows, I’m stopping smoking for good now.
You see, almost 2 years ago I stopped, for a year and a half. It was really good and I enjoyed not smoking. Then in October I started again, the why is irrelevant but it was a stressor and smoking was a crutch that I was far to eager to fall back on.
Stopped for 2 weeks in December, started again. Then stopped this past week, for good. This time I’ve quit with someone and she is going to be moving here soon. Now, not that I *don’t* have any stressors right now, I do but I need to stop using this as a crutch.

Waiting for the Cable Guy
I ordered a cable Internet connection on Tuesday because it will be about the same price but will actually maintain some kind of connection speed beyond ISDN speeds. *sigh*
So, today I’m waiting for the cable guy to show up and bring me the modem. I was supposed to get the static IPs already but oh now, that’s not in the mail yet… I’ll have to get them from the guy before I hook cafe up…
BTW, if you need a recommondation on an ISP, keep in mind: Telus DSL Sucks.
Holidays day 2
So, I have a holiday right? HEHE, it’s almost like I have more to do then if I wasn’t on holiday. Paperwork, a couple meetings with various and sundry people, get my passport, get my net connection changed, do car registration, do taxes, omg.
Well, so much for having a break, I *might* not have to do anything Saturday or Sunday! =)
Life and love.
I have one life to live, and I will live it to the fullest I possibly can.
Otherwise, it will be wasted.
I have one heart to give, and I will give every bit of it to that special beautiful person.
Otherwise, it will be wasted.
Flight’s booked
So, starting the grand adventure.
I booked my flight, one way to Vancouver, from there jhm picks me up, we pack, visit krispy kreme and maybe iHop, then drive to our home.
A grand adventure it will be, and I look forward to every minute of it…
Good things
Skiing was great.
Three days on the hill and except for my calves being sore I was ok. The people I went with were really great too (steph, ajh, pzb, and phooka thanks for coming!) and we had a complete blast. Even the weather co-operated.
So, on the first day I was skiing with ajh. He’s far more adventurous than I am and he managed to get me into a couple places I couldn’t handle. It would have been far better had I *not* gone down a double black diamond run on the first day, but oh well I still survived.

Pseudo Spring
it’s supposed to get up to 17C today (63F) which is spring weather. problem is, it’s March… This means that we’ll still have some cold weather, likely in April if not sooner.
It was an amazing bike ride to work though.
I’m Late!
So, I was going to post my first entry this morning and this is now it. The other one is saved as a Draft.
So be it.
I’m late, I should be at work but…
